Busiest Moms in the World Clutter Challenge Day 6

Yesterday on the Clutter Challenge we spent 5 minutes tackling the clutter in our utensil drawers.

I personally found 12 colorful spatulas that I did not even know I had! I think I meant to give them away last year as party favors and then completely forgot. Or I may be a spatula hoarder, who knows?

Today we are going to finish up our utensil clutter hunt and do a little 100 pick-up.

Now if you only have 5 minutes to spare I suggest doing the utensil hunt only.

But if you have 10 minutes then lets see if we can do both.

5-minutes – Please zip through the remainder of your utensil drawers and purge, purge, purge. Many of you may actually see bits and pieces at the bottom of drawers today. I am hoping I will. Can you imagine having a Zen-like kitchen drawer? Don’t forget to put the trash in the trash and the donation in the donation box or bag then take it to the car! Today may be a good day to do a drop off at the local donation center.

5-minutes PUPA action-  Turn on your tunes or timer and move as quickly as you can and put away 100 items! You would be surprised at how many items you can put away if you just focus on doing this one thing. Please no distractions-5 minutes can go by pretty quick and if you check your messages just one time you will lose valuable clutter-busting time. If you don’t make it to 100 no big deal. I like to set my sights high and then take a step back and look at the results. If you have one of the children help or even dad then you might finish before the timer. Woohoo

Let’s Get To It!

I will be posting my results in the comments section today. I am hoping it will be a nice fat comment.

Its Fall Ya’ll! Enjoy it!

  1. I put away quite a few things and then my son came running in from his Home Depot trip and interrupted me. I will give it another go after we run to the store.
One the utensils I filled one box of donations. But I feel I need to practice what I preach and donate just a few more wooden spatulas.
    lol
