Busiest Moms in the World Clutter Challenge
I meet with a group of local moms each month as a support group for homemaking. One topic that always seems to come up is filing. The truth as I see it is paper happens and when it does it seems to stack up. I felt better when my friends seem to all have the same problem. The only way to decrease the paper piles is simply to make time, get busy, and just do it.
Unless of course you have a Flying Purple Paper Eater, then you my friend are the luckiest girl in the world.
Today we are going to be taming the file monster. Those papers that we look at each day and ignore like stale biscuits.
Let’s Get To It
Tools:
Label Maker or Permanent Marker for Writing
Shredder or Your Hands if you are a hand shredder. (not recommended)
File Folders or whatever your organize with. Many of my friends use a scanner.
Sit at your workstation and start tackling that paper. Shred, Label, File and put it away.
In about 2 minutes you will start to get a tiny bit more motivated.
In about 5 minutes you should have a nice, little bit of clearance.
In about 10 minutes you are going to be feeling spectacularly good about your accomplishment.
