Busiest Moms in the World Clutter Challenge The Laundry Room Cabinet and Drawers

Today we are going to finish up the laundry area or room. This might seem a bit overwhelming but we have to hold fast in our heart the old saying “Rome was not built in a day”.  If we need to revisit this area in the next day or so then we can do so but at least we are giving it a good start.

The problem I have with the laundry room is when an item does not have a proper home it ends up in the laundry room cabinet. This turn into mayhem and can happen in 10 minutes or over a life-time.

We need to decide what we want to have in these drawers and cabinets, what is trash, what we can donate and what needs to be moved to a more appropriate spot.

So for today we are just zipping through and tossing out the trash and deciding what we can donate.  If you start organizing you are probably going to be carving out a whole afternoon. I suggest sticking to this  baby step of trash and donations and letting the rest wait until after the holiday season.

So, let’s get to it:

Grab a trash bag and a donation box and set your timer or turn on some music and work on this for 5 solid hopefully uninterrupted minutes.
