Janis Joplin, Pat Benatar and Momma Fighting Clutter Crime

Its Monday!  I am so excited to start a busy week after taking time off for the the job show in Las Vegas.  Las Vegas wears you down pretty quickly and taking a little guy to the Wave Pool and Lazy River four days straight was the most exhausting “vacation” I have very experienced.

I highly recommend only three days in Vegas if you need Vegas at all.  My husband and I went for work reasons otherwise we would have been somewhere North that was at least under 100 degrees.  One the way home the car’s outdoor thermometer registered over 120 degrees several times even hitting 125 a couple.  That is hot!

Anyway lets start this week not with a whimper but with a shout from the mountains.

“ I am a rocking mom and my house is going to rock along with me! ”

Okay, I know you may think I am a bit insane this morning.  But the truth of the matter is most of the time the only cheering section a mom has is her inner voice.

My inner voice reminds  me of Janis Joplin and  Pat Benatar, Joplin for her rocking voice and Pat for her cool hair.  (yes, my inner voice has cool hair, what of it)

Why on earth would to rock musicians even be in my head this early in the morning telling me to pick up clutter and make my home rocking awesome.

Who knows?  But, whatever it takes to get it done, right?

So let’s get started!  100 Club Rocking Moms who have been here know we pick up 100 pieces of clutter to kick-start our week.  If you have just stumbled upon Mommacan then  here is the story.

100 Club- Fighting Clutter Crime Every Monday!

Now let’s turn on some groovy tunes or Sesame Street to occupy the toddlers and pick-up and put away clutter and trash for around 10 minutes with a crazy goal of 100!

P.S. The 100 club is for everybody, even if you are an empty nester, or a  mom to an awesome cat.  Clutter is clutter and must be driven from our homes.

  1. When I was younger, 3 days in Vegas was just enough for me. Now I can only go at 2 days max…I wouldn’t even mind just one night! haha. Glad you had a great time!

    1. I think I am done with Vegas for a while. I will take the little one back when he can walk a few miles without turn on the whine radio. Then we can enjoy the road-side shows and the water features.

One place I will not return to is Circus, Circus. What a dirty, messy place. lol
I believe that would do well with a little “clutter crime fighting”,
      Pam
