Simply Super Summer Bucket List for Moms

The Summer Bucket List for Moms

I have a quite a few friends who have these enormous fancy buckets lists of dream trips, crazy physical feats, exotic food to eat and wine to taste. Heck, I even have a running list that I glance at from time to time in my planner called the Someday/Maybe list from my GTD practice.  However, this summer I want to dive in and try to do more right here in my own backyard.  I want to explore, create, plant, pamper and photograph every bit of life I can in the next couple of months. These months should be about spending more time with my sons and husband, but many times they are over ridden by too much work and too much wasted busy time ( Facebook,Twitter, and random puppy and kitten Youtube videos)

So today I am writing my summer bucket list. Last year I did something similar, but we travel so much that my own backyard got a bit neglected and I think I missed out on a lot of good life.  I enjoy traveling but I also enjoy the town I live in and the people I meet.

Simple Daily Challenge: Write your very own summer bucket list just for you!  And why not have the kids write one as well it will keep them busy while you enjoy your little dream session.  Write down anything that comes to mind and don’t worry if it sounds crazy or out of reach.  Dreaming is half the adventure!

Summer afternoon, summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.

Since my BabyGirl is on her own I don’t have to worry about what’s on her bucket list but good idea to suuggest it to her and maybe ask her to share with me (So maybe I can help her scratch a few off her list). I want to come up with a bucket list of what we want (and really need when the money Gods decide to rain those bills upon us “SMILE”) to do for our home.

    Great post!
