Do Your Time – Clutter Is A Crime

Halloween Week

Happy Monday Campers!  Today is Monday and every single Monday we put on our dancing shoes and do a little clutter crime fighting dance. I thought we would do so with a little more Halloween fun today so I found the Theme from the old family sitcom the Munsters.  Enjoy this robust mix ofj jazz and early rock and while you are picking up clutter, smile and remember that dirty socks and muddy shoes are signs of great adventures, thousands of legos and barbie shoes are signs of invention and creativity and bubble gum stuck to the front door is a sign that bubble gum, even after years of progress, is just as sticky as it has ever been.

Now, let’s get to it. PIck up and put away  100 items of clutter in 10 minutes or less. There are really no rules, except that Legos and Barbie shoes do count!  You will be amazed at how fast 100 items go especially if you have little ones in the house.  If your house is pristine than take a peak in your email inbox and see how many emails are just taking up cyberspace,  for example: junk mail and chain letters, recipes you will never have time to cook and photos of thousans of cute cats.  Delete what you do not need and organize what needs to be kept.

This week we will take a peek at a few Halloween snacks and suppers along with more decorating inspiration! But first, a little look at a  holiday gift idea for Fall and beyond.

Fun Item for you Holday Stash

nut cracker

This little guy would look dandy sitting on the table next to a bowl or English walnuts ready and willing to crack open the shell and serve up the meat of a super healthy nut. I love walnuts and they taste so wonderful paired with good Fair Trade Chocolate.  The Norpro Davy Crack It Squirrel Nutcracker is available through Amazon and is so darn cute as a gift but also as a nice keeper for yourself this holiday season.   The Nutcracker is also a great gift to have in your gift stash for unexpected guest.

Have a rocking day!
