I love Halloween decorations. It is so much fun to light the Jackolanterns, hang spider webs and deck the outdoor bushes with orange lights. However, I am not a big fan of real spider webs and especially big hairy spiders. My front door is a regular eight-legged zoo. I am deeply ashamed.
So this morning I am going to take my lonesome little broom out and whack those spider webs down. I am going to do it very gently to give the spiders a fighting chance. But those little suckers are scary and I like the neighborhood children too much to risk anyone getting scared away by the real thing!
So, if you have not already done so, the challenge for the day is to clean the cobwebs and sweep the front porch as well. Get into your fall grove and don’t sneak any mini-chocolate bars today. You will only feel sad about it later.
Have a rocking day!
