Momma’s Weekly Plan

weekly plan for moms

This year we are going try something new here at Mommacan.com.  Each Monday bright and early I will be posting my personal weekly plan, I will exclude my boring job stuff and choir director details, because they only apply to very few people’s lives and that would be silly.  But in a nut shell, I am sharing my weekly plan as a mom, organizer, wife, chief home operator, accountant, decorator, part-time maid and part-time chef.  Here is the catch!  I would love to hear about your plans for the week either in a comment with a link to your blog, on the Mommacan.com facebook page or even ( gasp) Google Plus if that floats your boat.  I truly believe that sharing our goals will help reach our goals, even if the sharing is just a tiny fragment of what we do each day!

Organize – My pantry is an explosive mess after the busy holidays. I am going to do a little 3- minutes a day to an organized pantry, because frankly that is all I have time for as a busy mom.  Mess pantry to orderly pantry in just 3 minutes a day!

Cook -This week, starting Tuesday morning after MLK day, I am going to kick-start a 14 days version of the Whole 30.  I need to revamp my Paleo diet as it has become to relaxed and I do not feel I am operating on a hundred percent.

Clean –  Because I am dedicating 14 days to a halF Whole 30 to I am also pledging to clean up the kitchen every night before bed. I have night eaters in the house and it is not easy to do, however, it is much easier to cook healthy meals when you start with a clean tidy kitchen.

Dream –  I have always felt women in today’s busy world take very little time for themselves. And in that off-chance they do carve out real healing time, it is always rushed and riddled with guilt.  This week I am working on taking 15 minutes a day to meditate or do a few simple Yoga moves. ( I know, I hear you saying, who has 15 spare minutes crazy lady!)  I am not saying I will do the moves perfect, but they will be perfect for me. I am not saying I will meditate perfectly, but it will be perfect for me.

Move – I am hoping to walk every day this week and workout at Curves twice.  I am working with a minor injury and need to let it heal for a few days so no crazy stuff this week like rock climbing. ( Haha, as if that would ever happen)

Educate –  We are working on more descriptive sentences and playing several rounds of Division War, a simple math game I found that we all love.

Okay, its your turn.

What is your weekly plan?  What special to do is on your notebook planner or calendar this week?
