40 Day Clutter Challenge – Simple Saturday- Family Time

READER'S CHOICE - Clutter Challenge 40 Day 12 items each day

Welcome to Day 10 of the 40 Day Clutter Challenge.

Today is a family day at our house and I am zipping through to get my 20/12 done so that I can go out with my family for some much-needed sunshine and RNR.   Yesterday I went back to the garage and easily found 12 more items to discard.  Today I am peeking into the hall closet with has only excess culinary tools.  I am a collector.  But I also was a cafe manager ( many moons ago) so large kitchen equipment seems completely normal to me.

Today I encourage you to find a 20 minute time slot and get your Clutter Challenge done in record timing.  If you can find 12 items in 5 minutes then you are finished!  Why? Because family time or just changing up your scenery each week is what makes life enjoyable.  JOY. Joy is important. Laughter is needed. Silliness is welcome. Smiles are encourage.  This to me is the Saturday change up, after I have written a bit, exercised a bit and had a shower without the sound of a timer blaring at me because I have to get my son ready for school!

INSPIRATION:

My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard. Mother would come out and say, ‘You’re tearing up the grass’; ‘We’re not raising grass,’ Dad would reply. ‘We’re raising boys.’

CHALLENGE:  Spend 20 minutes OR LESS tidying and organizing a chosen area. Today is the hall closet or reader’s choice.  You can pick any spot in the home that needs a spruce up.

TOMORROW – Sunday is break day so we will see you bright and early Monday!

Have a simple Saturday with family and don’t forget to take care of you for a bit.
