Three cheers for football! There is nothing more exciting in the America than watching the cleats hit the field and the jersey crisp and clean ready for the big day! I love football. I was in marching band from Jr. High through College so even on days we lost we learned to love our team and looked forward to making some noise for them and providing half-time entertainment.
I used to longingly look at the tail-gate parties, the bowls of chili, the hotdogs grilling and the chips dipping into that cheesy goodness and wish I did not have on a starched wool uniform holding onto a clarinet that rarely played a note in those cold winter conditions. Boy, that food smelled good and the excitement of a possible win for our team made it better.
Four blogging pals are sharing their football memories, eats and party organizing ideas! Enjoy! And if your team doesn’t make it to the playoffs, no worries, the Band Will Play On and will see you next year!!
