I Found Elvis!
As promised I am posting the before and after pictures of my 10-minute desk clean-up challenge. I was surprised how fast the time went by and how much I accomplished in such a short time. I downloaded the free Mac App Timey Time to use for this exercise. It is a simple application but I am thinking it will be very useful for keeping me on task in the future. It sits at the bottom of the desk and looks like a hen sitting on a little timer roost. It is only for Mac productivity but I am sure they have similar things for Windows users.
I am happy to report my desk is now tidy enough to pay bills, find papers more rapidly and enjoy looking at my little Karate Elvis without feeling bad about clutter. Next up on my clean-up challenges is going to be craft orientated. I want a spot where Little Guy and I can both enjoy creating art projects and homemade cards. Creativity is much more enjoyable if you have a nice tidy and organized place to do so. What is your next tidy project?

My desk is a disaster area! I can get it really clean but it just seems to continue to be the dumping ground for all the odds and ends around the house. I’m still trying to figure out a good solution.

Heeheee…. loooooooooove the Elvis! My Desk is always a mess, and what is funny – right now, with my hubby’s lappy away for repairs…. I never get to use my computer or my desk… So the mess isn’t mine, but I am the only one that cleans it…

this was super cute. i think all mothers desks look like that…. my kids entered me in a contest ( starring them) where you film your messy desk and people vote to see who gets their desk or cube “pimped”. Anyways thought it was a funny thing to throw out there.. would be funny to watch your elvis video on your blog!
