Picnics, Book Fairs and Office Organizing

I enjoy posting my weekly goal, it helps to keep me on my toes.  These weekly goals focus on organizing, cleaning, cooking, decorating, and dreaming. I hope that sharing my goals will give me the needed boost to see them through and also to help other moms get motivation to see their goals through as well.  We busy moms need all the help we can get! I would love to hear about your plans for the week either in a comment with a link to your blog, on the Mommacan.com facebook page or even ( gasp) Google Plus if that floats your boat.  I truly believe that sharing our goals will help us to reach our goals

Organize:

I am working on getting rid of more clutter in my office. It will surely be easier to tidy up if it contains less stuff. It is a long and tedious process but I will reap the benefits when it is complete.

Cook:

I am keeping it simple this week. We are using up leftovers from the freezer and I will be making simple salads and soups during the week because I am working the school book fair every single day.

When moms are busy, it is okay to be kind to ourselves and just serve simple meats with cut up veggies and fruit. Leave the fancy stuff for our leisurely days when we have time to enjoy the process.

Clean:

With the book fair going on this week I am simply going to clean one room a day for 15 minutes and make sure I keep up with my Daily Dozen. The daily dozen are the top 12 things that need to be done for my home to run smoothly.

Dream:

Family Picnics and Other Outdoor Meals

I love bbq’s, picnics or just a simple glass of lemonade with some homemade salsa and chips.

Eating outside keeps helps keep the distraction of electronics from sucking away time that could be used to connect with your loved ones in conversation and laughter.

Check out this picnic backpack for four. I love the tiny salt and pepper shakers.

Now it is your turn!  What do you have planned for the week?
