Busiest Moms in the World Spring Clean Challenge Day 20
We are hanging out in the kitchen and office/extra room today!
Another busy day here in Mommy Land. I have written up my daily planning sheet, took one glance and thought, “Why did I even get up this morning?”. Yep, it was that long.
I have noticed that when I have an enormous TO DO list I can usually cope pretty well, it is just when life hands over unexpected hardships or events that I feel completely overwhelmed. Yep, I have had a couple of unexpected things lately and apparently these get more common as I get older.
But what can you do? Life is life and if I ignore the dishes they are just going to multiply like rabbits in spring.
Enough of this rambling, on with the challenge because these things have really helped me lately. I mean, my laundry area has never looked this organized for this many days in a row for years! Woohoo!
The Kitchen:
Sweep and Mop the floors making sure you get the corners. And just to make it look nice when you are finished wash up and put away all the dishes and tidy the counters.
Weekend Homework: Remove all items from the counters and give it a good cleaning and replace items in a logical order.
The Office or Extra Room: Spend five more minutes clutter busting and empty the trash.
I can’t believe how my family uses my office as a dumping ground and lately the piano bench as well. Drives me totally bonkers!
