100 Club Pick-Up – It’s A Labor of Love

Today many of us begin our week with a Labor Day holiday.  If you work in retail you may have on of the busier days of your work year and if you have the day off, hooray!

I had considered just putting up a pretty photo and exclaiming “Enjoy the Day!”. But clutter still multiplies even on national holidays so here I am.  The Mom with a big trash bag, a clutter box and a plan…. telling you its Monday!  But we need a song….  a joyful song on this Labor Day.

Let’s Get Started:

Grab a trash bag and turn on some groovy tunes and as quickly as you can pick up and put away 100 items of clutter and throw out random trash. Lego Ninjago Heads, My Little Pony brushes, and any Cheerio you find stuck on the floor count. ( Man, those milked down Cheerios can really stick after a day or two)

You can totally do this in 10 minutes with a determined mind and maybe a pint-sized helper or two!  

Have a wonderful Labor Day!   Oh, and I know the phrase Labor Day can make some mammas tense, so have a glass of wine or a gentle herbal tea tonight and toast surviving your personal “ labor day(s)” because they should be celebrated as well!
