Hi, Friends!  Thank you for joining us for our  Create and Celebrate Blog Party! This party is all about you, our party guests.

We hope you all are enjoying each other’s creative work and visiting your fellow bloggers here at the party to support and encourage each other. After all, isn’t that what bloggers do? To all of our readers (ours and all of the bloggers), we hope you are being inspired by the creativity being shared each month!

We especially want to give a round of applause to those who have linked up each and every month in our first three months!

If you are new here,  Susanne and I were chatting one night thinking about how long and crazy our Blogger to do list seemed to be each week. Every single post that required photos, research, writing, designing graphics and engaging readers through social media was a true act of love and LOTS of hard work. We decided that bloggers need a pat on the back and some cheering from their peers in Blogland and decided to start Create and Celebrate to celebrate all the hard work that you do on each and every project and post.

We also started a Facebook Group and Facebook Page to share posts and give more visibility to our participants! We want to create an environment that is helpful and positive so that all our blogging friends can reach their creative and successful goals! We would love you to join us there!

Blogger Of the Month

From Pam and Susanne: We love Tina! She has spunk, mad design skills, and is an awesome mom who just happens to homeschool her awesome kids. We are lucky to have her as Blogger Of the Month for July and August!  We have been busy working on fabulous posts for the new school year.

 

About Eclectic Twist is a home decor and DIY blog that is designed to inspire and empower others to create beautiful spaces in their homes and maybe take a risk they wouldn’t have otherwise!

What inspired me to blog? – I am a passionate lover of design and DIY projects.  I also love sharing with people what I know and have learned and the best way to share was to write about it!

My Spare Time– If I’m being totally honest, it’s a tie between patrolling antique/fleas and Home Goods for my next treasure to shake up our house and spending time with my family!  ????

Something fun and unique about me–  I make up my own language, adjectives to describe things mostly.  I have a BA in English so you would think that would go against my very nature, but nope it feels VERY natural!  And we homeschool our kids!

Favorite food – goat cheese, seriously!  Plain, herbed, honey you can’t go wrong.  And wine, it goes with everything!

Pet peeve– When people aren’t listening when you are talking to them (some members of my family may be guilty of this, ahem, children)

Proudest Achievement– Graduating/finishing college while on my own with a 2-year-old and pregnant with a 2nd child when the hubs was away for career training.  And raising 4 kids to be good people!

We were amazed at the simple, yet crazy awesome post that shows her readers how she takes her fashion photos with a remote and a tripod. The photos are fabulous!  It made want to go find cute new outfits and take photos as soon as possible!

Each month we will gather and post our best link(s) of the month. These links will need to lead to your original post. Please no link parties, but we will for sure share your link parties on our very own FACEBOOK group and ask for it to be shared on our Facebook Page!. We want to create a place where we don’t just drive by and dump our links, but hang out and meet new bloggers.

These are the categories for August:

Lifestyle, Design and Decorating, Foodies, Travel, Parenting/Family, and Seasonal especially BACK TO SCHOOL!

The category featured bloggers will have their post of the month featured along complete with the best photo possible, all linked back to your blog.
