You’ve really got to start hitting the books because it’s no joke out here.
Reading has always been my most coveted past-time. I discovered the world first through books and I think that is why I have always had a tender heart and a strong-will in every task I have ever taken on in this crazy beautiful world. Books are the key to so many things and I love to share what I am reading.

Filled with yummy recipes like Spicy Pulled Pork, Green Chile and Cheddar Quesadillas and Peach Coffee Cake (which is on my radar for Easter Dinner) you can’t help but want to get in the kitchen and cook up some yumtastic meals for your family. The concept behind the cookbook is fantastic and tugs and my Vincentian heart because each book purchased allows someone on a very tight budget a book. This means when you buy a book person in need gets one through a donations program.
Not only is Good and Cheap: Eat Well on $4/Day filled with yummy recipes it also gives the reader excellent tips for the kitchen as well as how to fill you pantry with money-saving staples. What is not to love?
I can’t wait to share a few recipes I am going to try from this recipe collection this month. I am devoting this month to family meals and bringing the joy of Spring into the home.
Kindle For Kids – Easter Book by Charlotte Zolotow
One of my favorite Easter books is available on Kindle and is a perfect digital read for you and you little ones or even a “gasp” real book. I collect Charlotte’s books like most moms collect comfy yoga pants an ballet flats. She allows the child to embrace their intelligence in books. They are just simply fantastic and always filled with delightful and beautiful illustrations.
The Bunny Who Found Easter is about a lonely bunny goes looking for Easter, where he hopes to find other bunnies. His search takes him through the seasons, but only in the spring does he find the real meaning of Easter.
Thank you as always for stopping by and I hope your day is filled with joy and laughter!
