You Will Need
- 1 c frozen blueberries
- 2 oz raw baby spinach leaves ( I just grab a good handful)
- 1/2 banana
- 2 dates, pitted
- 1 heaping spoon tablespoon natural cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. real vanilla extract
- 1/2 c almond milk (use more if required)
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy. I add the frozen berries first, then the banana, dates, spinach, cocoa powder, vanilla and finally the almond milk. It just seems to blend easier layered in the manner. I blend on smoothie setting on the Vitamix. Use what blender you have.
