Planning Christmas does not have to be overwhelming or break the bank!

Holiday Planner Bundle

Once upon a time, many moons ago, my life was simpler. I had one pretty self-efficient boy who was in his early teens and a husband who had mastered laundry and brought me coffee every morning. The winter holidays were filled with travels back home to Tennessee and cooking alongside my mama and several trips to fun places for Thanksgiving with my in-laws. Things were pretty good and almost too relaxing.

Then along came another little boy, a surprise really to this momma. This little guy was a ball of energy, and his brother was a busy, very social teenager. I was getting very little sleep but was joyful of our new addition. We stayed home for Christmas and had “gasp” Italian for Christmas dinner at a restaurant. This was fine if it is what you love, but this Tennessee gal living in sunny California needed her Southern home cooking for the holidays. That day I promised myself I would cook-from-scratch for Christmas Eve every single year and would decorate the house so that my boys would know that Christmas was a big deal and that Christmas with family was an even bigger deal.

Decorating and cooking for a few people was easy peasy in the beginning but as the family grew so did the expectations inside my head. I started new family traditions to go along with home-cooked food and traditional decorations. I added the pajama fairy, table gifts for all the guests and a sit-down Christmas morning breakfast. These new traditions added stress to our budget, but it brought such joy to see folks open things that were gifts that my husband and I chose and to serve good home-cooking to people that we loved.

During the holidays I was cooking, cleaning, shopping, decorating, working, parenting, and this list could go on and on. I am sure many of you can relate!

I started to feel like a  hamster after drinking espresso, spinning on the wheel, getting nowhere, but moving as fast as I could go. I was literally shopping til’ I was dropping. I would look at photos of my son and myself decorating cookies… he beaming with fun and I was sporting dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep.
I knew something had to change. But my heart said I needed this, for my family, for myself, and to hold fast to my most-loved traditions.
I started researching ways to get organized, cook with more efficiency, plan ahead, and NOT break our budget.
As I studied, I became very successful at cooking from scratch during the busiest time of the year, shopping with my head and heart, not just my pocketbook and plastic, and keeping our traditions but not overstretching the calendar so much that the kids, my husband, and myself got cranky.
I knew I could not keep my tips a secret because somewhere there was a tired mommy who just might need a little boost.
She wants out of the chaos of Christmas and back to the sparkle of joy in her heart for the season.

And that is why I wrote this ebook.

Christmas Planning Bundle

This book is a life saver for the Christmas Tinsel Queen.  It starts with the basics, having a plan, what does your perfect Christmas look like and then setting tasks to get there.

Pam doesn’t tell you what you need to do, this book isn’t about how to decorate your tree like a designer.  Instead, she guides you on how to get where you want your Christmas to be.

As a yearly recovering tinsel queen, knowing when to stop and enjoy is the game changer every year. I love this little book.  Print it out, get some pretty pens and follow along!  Leanna – Of Faeries & Fauna Craft Co.

Don’t believe the hype that Christmas has to be a

stressful, exhausting, and costly holiday.

The truth is Christmas can be wonderful!

Yes, the Christmas season can get crazy busy, and moms can feel overwhelmed.  With so many things to accomplish along with all of your daily responsibilities, this season can rob you of sleep, time for self-care, and precious peaceful and joyful time with your family.

Coming up with a plan to get your Christmas tasks done will help you grab back those special moments with your family and give you the time you need to take care of you as well!   It is hard to keep Christmas at a reasonable level when we are bombarded with commercials and television shows suggesting to us that Christmas has to be filled with expensive gifts, fancy decorations, and an overwhelming push to attend every single holiday event in the city, so our kids don’t miss out.
