Just in case you haven’t noticed I am all about fall lately. Today I am sharing a fun dollar store fall tablescape that I designed with a farm style theme that is all the rage these days. I was amazed at the nifty items I found at such great prices and that it turned out so cozy and inviting.
Every single item on this table came from the local dollar store. Well, not the cookies, they just happen to fall into my cart at Trader Joe’s last week and they taste fantastic!
Let’s take a little table tour!
The place settings kick-off with a ribbed cotton black place mat with white stitching, the dishes are white stoneware and the flatware stainless steel. I chose tall clear glass coolers to hold iced tea. The menu on the night of this photo shoot was Turkey Chili and cornbread and we like our chili spicy, so the tall iced tea glasses come in real handy!
The napkins are a cotton black and white checkered dish towels and the table runner is a fun pattern of our black and white theme and is actually a drawer liner, so it is water resistant.
The centerpiece is made from a nifty galvanized bucket with jute wrapped around the top to give it a rustic flair and is filled with orange sunflowers. The cookie jars are one of my favorite finds. I also used three in my Fall Tiered Tray! They are so handy for so holding many things and the lids fit snug enough to keep the cookies fresh! After all, who wants a stale cookie?
I am pretty happy with the results of my first dollar decor adventure! The items used for this tablescape cost 35 dollars! That is just amazing to me.
Do you use the dollar store for decorating?
I can’t wait to go on another dollar decor adventure!
Have a beautiful day!

What a cheerful and welcoming combination of colors, pattern and textures. Very creative and festive looking ! I should investigate Dollar Store shopping a little bit more…it certainly looks like fun!
I have the same problem with cookies just falling into my cart at times! What a beautiful table setting and for a whole lot less than the one I featured from Pier 1. It is great to show that living on a budget should not make anyone believe they can’t have a designer look. Love the result. Want the chili recipe.
WOW! I LOVE the dollar store. I really love this table. 🙂
I love this tablescape it is so perfect. Now did you find the placemats and napkins at Dollar tree. Fall is my favorite time of the year.
Yes I did! I believe that everything but the rust colored sunflowers came from the dollar tree.
A very cozy and festive fall tablescape and how great is the Dollarstore, hey?? Thank you for sharing at Sweet Inspiration this week!
I absolutely use the Dollar Store for decorating!! When I stage houses that’s the place I start first. If I can’t get something at the Dollar Store, then I reluctantly move on to Walmart and then Michael’s/Joanne’s. Great job with your tablescape!! Sometimes I just stand in awe at the pretty stuff you can find at dollar stores.
I love those sorts of stores and you have done so well creating your tablescape. It looks inviting and colorful. I love the wood look and feel of the whole area.

Great tablescape on a budget!
You know, I was JUST thinking how much I’d like to do a little bit of fall decorating, but I just don’t have the money right now. But my budget can *definitely* handle this! And I LOVE the sunflowers and the black placemats + table runner. Dollar Store is calling my name, girlfriend! Thanks!
Very pretty Pamela. And the fact that i is from the dollar store really surprises me. It’s not how much an item costs but what you do with it.
I love the Dollar store, of course we have the Canadian version, all the same you always find great deals for reasonable prices!
Love the color splash from the sun flowers!
The dollar store is always my go-to for decorating too. I love that you used black and white in your fall decorating!
