Three Simple Tasks to Help Moms Get Things Done

By now most moms are back in full mode school, home, work and crazy mode and things can get out of hand pretty quick without some kind of plan. Well, my plan for the day is to complete my Dirty Dozen, make dinner in the crockpot with a recipe I am converting and do a couple of things around the house.

Please join me in Three Simple Tasks for today.

I promise you will see a bit of difference and these three simple tasks will hopefully motivate you to tackle your Momma-sized TO DO lists.

  1. Organize your desk or main work station for 2 simple minutes. You know that saying “I can’t see the forest for the trees.”? Well, the same goes with your desk. You can’t find your _________ for the mess. I simple cannot focus with a cluttered desk and right now I am looking at a mild mess, borderline crazy.
  2. Empty out all of the trash cans. Yes, I know I am always bringing up trash cans, but when they are full clutter explodes around this house.
  3. Take 5 minutes and work on anything you have been procrastinating about either with your home, children, scheduling, projects for work or whatever. Five simple minutes will get your moving in the right direction and you will be surprised at what you will be able to accomplish.  I have several so this will be a snap. I am just going to get busy and get started. As a matter of fact, I am tackling a super-size project today and I have high hopes that my motivation will send me to the finish line.

What projects are you working on this week?
