Each Monday bright and early I post my personal weekly goals. These weekly goals will focus on organizing, cleaning, cooking, decorating, health and dreaming. I hope that sharing my goals will give me the needed boost to see them through and also to help other moms get motivation to see their goals through as well. We busy moms need all the help we can get! This week I am organizing a small spot downstairs for cosmetics, hair and general mommy maintenance as we are installing flooring upstairs. In other words, my daily routines are about to be turned upside down so I really need to be able to find my toothbrush and brush my teeth.
I have been trying to implement a Cook Once Eat All Week routine. The blog post I read did not say this would take several hours and all of my weekend, but I am hoping to reap a few extra treadmill minutes with this routine and maybe even (GASP) a free hour to do something frivolous like read, watch a chick flick or even get a little extra sleep!
MOVE and SLEEP
I am committed to getting in some walking time every single day this week. When I am tired I tend to skip out on this much needed exercise and lately I have been getting too little sleep and not nearly enough movement. Sleep is important, so I am pledging getting more shuteye all week to see how it stacks up. Check out this article on the importance of sleep.
Well, this week I should be actually living the dream of wood floors upstairs instead of that super gross cream Berber carpet. However, I believe that dreams should be frivolous and silly and something to work toward as a goal. So I am also going to be dreaming of Spring gardens and fabulous trips to Ireland and Scotland. Dream Big!
