40 Day Clutter Challenge Be In The Moment
40 Day Clutter Challenge Be In The Moment
Today we are back in the groove our 40 Day Clutter Challenge. Our clutter, tidy-focus is the hall closet and the laundry room or laundry cubby. But before we begin, let us take note that today is Monday. Monday can either be a day of whining that the weekend is over or a day of rejoicing because we woke up and life is ready for the taking.
Today I encourage you to do something, anything, that you have been meaning to do. Write it down and keep it as a promise, no matter how small that promise might be.
Example:
1. Exercising more – take the dog for a walk or your spouse. 🙂
2. Eating healthy – take 10 minutes and get rid of the unhealthy food and have an apple when you get in the mood for a snack or something that is the health equivalent.
3. Reading more often – Set your timer, grab that book and read it for 15 minutes. ( You and your brain are worth every single one of those minutes.)
4. Pray/Meditate more often – Again. find a quiet place, set the timer and just do it. This is your day and as much as the world likes to take pieces of your day, it is still YOUR DAY!

Be In The Moment
Peace Journal – I recently purchased a journal to use during my prayer/meditation time each day or when I need a spiritual boost. When I feel overwhelmed I spend 1 or 2 minutes jotting the prayers that help me through the tough stuff or quotes that make me smile. This one works great. Canson Art Journal
QUOTE FOR THE DAY
If you aren’t in the moment, you are either looking forward to uncertainty, or back to pain and regret.
Jim Carrey
How can we live with as little regret as possible? How can we parent with as little regret as possible?
CHALLENGE – 40 Day Clutter Challenge Be In The Moment
Take 20 minutes to tidy and organize the laundry area or finish up the hall closet. Remember our goal is to get rid of at least 12 items of clutter per day. Discard, donate or hand down.
Have a super day!
