40 Day Clutter Challenge Day 29 – GTD Method Email

Comuter Decluttering Mommacanc.om

Welcome to day 29 of the 40 Day Clutter Challenge. Our goal is to declutter, organize and tidy for 20 minutes or less per day while choosing 12 items to get rid of that we no longer love, need or use. Today we are working on computers.  We will start by deleting all junk email and sifting through all of our emails for items that are no longer needed or need to be filed or archived.  I archive emails that I may need to reference in the future in Dropbox but currently am shifting to Evernote. However, you might just choose to save it in a folder in your email. Whatever works best for you. The idea is to get rid of the clutter junk emails and sit at a computer that has the emails you actually need for replies and work/home reference.

GTD Method Email

I have been using the GTD method for quite some time but have tweaked it for my busy mom schedule.  Which basically means, I must have catch-up days and cannot reduce it to zero daily.

Here is a super article the GTD Method by David Allen on Email Processing

Challenge: Process your emails and organize them for 20 minutes discarding as many as you can.
