Back to School Boogie Child’s Bedroom – Drawer Tackling

School days are so just around the corner!  I am so stoked to get my little guy’s room, study area complete and ready for his journey into yet another grade at the local elementary school.

I have clutter busted the closet, toys and books but still have a few drawers to tackle and a deep clean for the entire room.

Today I am emptying out the drawers in his room and donating outgrown clothing and tossing old worn out socks and undies.  Yes, I said undies and I thought about which word to use for two days and decided undies was a pretty safe bet.  10 years from now if little guy reads this and he is appalled at the word undies, then I will edit or delete if he feels it is necessary.

The scary thing about drawers is that you never know what you will find?  My son collects treasures in various places in his room.  So when I open a drawer I may find socks, a balled up pair of swim shorts and several snail shells or a chewed up tennis ball from our dog’s collection outside.

What weird things have you discovered in your child’s dresser drawers?

Simple Daily Challenge: Take 5 minutes for each child’s bedroom and tackle those drawers and little cubbies.  Donate or hand down outgrown clothes and toss what is no longer of any use.
