Busiest Moms in the World Spring Clean Challenge Day 2

We are working in the living areas and entryway today.

Yesterday we picked up clutter and today we are going to work on the walls. The walls in a house full of children are a constant battle. However, if we do not address the sticky hand spots and crayon markings ,we will end up with well a wall of gross.

I have found some pretty disgusting things sticking to walls in my 25 years of parenting and with a second grader I am still discovering interesting wall -art and science experiments here and there throughout the house.

Walls are a pretty tall order for one day in a busy mom’s life so we are going to break it down into a couple of bites. For today spend 5 -15 minutes, removing cobwebs and dusting the walls. If you have access to a vacuum attachment you can use the extension with the brush attachment.  If not, then try using a microfiber cloth attached to a broom handle for the cobwebs and dust. Remember: leave that mean old Patsy Perfect in the closet. If she wants to come out and perfectly dust the walls later, she can do it in her own imaginary perfect house.

If you have to use a ladder to reach then please have someone at home to spot you to prevent accidents. You can never be to safe if you are the momma!

Just the Facts Momma:

Knock down cobwebs and vacuum or dust walls for 5 to 15 minutes. Remember safety first if you use a ladder and have someone to spot you.

  1. You’ve got an excellent series going here! I appreciate how you’ve broken spring cleaning into easy doable tasks. We just moved out of our 3300+ sq ft home into a motel room. For the next 4 monmths, this will be home, one good side is i don’t need to do much house cleaning. By the time our new home is built, I will be so ready to do my own cleaning again! Happy Tuesday!
