What Gender Is Your Laundry Room?
Busiest Moms in the World Spring Clean Challenge Day 7
We are working in the laundry area today!
How exciting, one week down and I cannot believe how much clutter I have either removed or organized. My hall closet is looking pretty spiffy and I can’t wait to share with you what I have accomplished. However, first things first….. the laundry room/area is waiting for our momma love.
Momma, Momma, Help Me!
Each morning when I wake up and do my 52-pick up the laundry room calls my name, “ Momma, Momma help me I am being surrounded by stray socks, wash rags and wet towels. I feel sorry for that poor old laundry room, but the honest truth is I just have not had the time to do anything these days but make sure my boys are wearing clean underwear and an occasional clean shirt.
So I am actually pretty excited to spend a few minutes each day this week to give that poor old laundry room the respect he deserves. Why I think the laundry room has a male gender is beyond me, I just feel a male vibe when I am in there. Perhaps it is all the male underthings that take up space in that room. After all, I am a lone woman in a house full of boys.
Today we are doing a massive pick-up and put-away in the laundry area. This is pretty simple but might be a bit daunting if you have been saving up clean clothes for a while. Just turn on a upbeat tune and give it a go. If you happen to not finish, there is always tomorrow!
So hop to it mommas, set your timer for 5 to 15 minutes or turn on your favorite music and start putting things away. If you have a trash can in the area, go ahead and empty that little guy, (there I go again, with the male gender thing) he deserves a little momma love as well.
Just the Facts Momma:
Put away all stray items in the laundry area, especially the clean clothes and empty the trash.
My laundry room is female 🙂 But we have three girls do my husband’s clothes get lost amid all of the pinks and pastel clothing, lol. I appreciate your blog and am an avid follower! Have a great week!
