Fall In Love With Autumn Colors – Mauve -tastic
I love the colors of fall, oranges, reds, purples, browns greens and all of the whimsy of a fall evening just at sunset when the earth is tipping its hat with a spray of joyful hues as if saying, “How do you do?” .
This year Pantone has a splendid new palette of colors that will pop in to your love category and will tickle your memory from days gone by. Take a look at the simple graphic below at a glimpse of the Fall 2014 Pantone Colors.
Right smack near the middle is MAUVE, or misty mauve, if you want the exact name. I am not fond of mauve but if you pair it with a cobalt blue or a cypress green it might make a pretty table setting or even a t-shirt and jean set if you can find the right shade for YOU! My favorite is the gray shade at the end they call Aluminum, it is a neutral color that pairs with darn near anything.
