An Easy Fall Decorating Idea

I created this printable while styling the window area in my kitchen. The space needed one more little touch of fall, and colorful word art seemed like the perfect answer.

I love how subway-style art gathers familiar words and images to create a feeling. Harvest, gratitude, pumpkins, apples, Thanksgiving, and time spent with family and friends all come together in one cheerful design.

I displayed mine on a chalkboard clipboard, although it would also look lovely in a simple wood, black, white, or gold frame.

How to Print Your Fall Artwork

For the best results:

• Print the PDF on white cardstock or matte presentation paper.
• Choose the highest-quality setting available on your printer.
• Select “fit to printable area” if your printer does not offer borderless printing.
• Use the JPG when ordering an 8×10 print from a photo-printing service.
• Trim the letter-size version if you would like to place it in a smaller frame.

Matte paper works especially well behind glass because it reduces glare.

Simple Ways to Display It

Try displaying your printable:

• In an 8×10 frame on a mantel or shelf
• On a decorative clipboard in the kitchen
• Beside your coffee station or fall tiered tray
• On an entry table with pumpkins and autumn leaves
• As part of an inexpensive fall hostess gift
