40 Days of Photos For Lent

(Updated Feb. 2024)

Each year my family observes Lent by giving up a favorite food or doing something for our community. My husband is not Catholic, but he participates more fully than most people I have ever known. Two years ago he gave up Diet Coke and has not had a drop since. Lent gave him a tremendous gift of choosing healthy cleansing teas over Diet Sodas! This year I decided to share our Lenten Journey in photos, and I thought I would invite you all along. I created a little guide to help your creativity, but please feel free to create a guide of your own. Please tag me in your family friendly photos, and let’s take this journey together!  40 Days of Photos for Lent.  40 Days – 40 Photos A Visual Lenten Journey .

  1. I have been thinking about a social media fast for Lent this year, but I’ve been hesitating, because social media is the way I keep up with so many friends and family who are far away (and with Covid who don’t go out much). So, this idea is intriguing and I’m going to try it out. You can follow me @Love4Libraries on Instagram ????????????
