Cosmetic Clean Up and Pair Down

I love Tuesdays!  There is such a sense of hope when Monday is finally over.

This wonderful Tuesday I am going to take 5 simple minutes and toss out all the cosmetic mess that I no longer love, use or need.

I have learned to keep it real simple thanks to Carmindy’s 5-minute face routine. Read the book and you will be able to keep a handful of basic items and get ready for the morning in record speed.  I love it.

I use to pray for sunny mornings so that I could hide behind my sunglasses when taking the Little Guy to school.  Now, I enjoy going because my face is glowing and I look at least 10 years younger. *wink*

Anyway, I still tend to buy stuff to try it out.  I probably have around 10 colors of pale eye shadow to brighten my eyes.  Some work, some are scary pink glitter nightmares.  The gal at CVS pharmacy knows me by name and by my obsession with eyeshadows and let us not mention mascara.

Anyway, Tuesday is my Take 5 for cleaning out that mess and giving my makeup drawer a nice little shine with some vinegar.

I encourage all my friends and readers to take five simple minutes and make room for more stuff. (insert giggle)
