We are celebrating our own little Mom- Olympics in honor of this year’s Olympic Winter Games. I personally love the ice skating. I have learned to hold my breath through nearly an entire routine in fear of the poor participant falling on their bum.
If you did not see the initial Game Challenge you can find it here.
Momma Olympics – Homemaking Game for Busy Moms
We are tallying up points each day for household chores and general home paper pushing, like meal planning and paying the bills. Our points are our daily little mommy medals. I am aiming for at least 250 points this morning. This will be a snap because each Olympic Challenge listed below is worth 100 points!
One- Find the bottom of the laundry basket. Wash, dry and fold until you have completely cleaned all the dirty laundry in you hamper and get 100 points plus 25 points per load. Hooray for points!
Two- Take a serenity, happy peace break. A 10 minute break to meditate, pray, relax by a nice window and just be you. Focus on good memories, accomplishments or just think of the twinkle of that toddlers eye from yesterday or 20 years ago. As moms we will always remember that mischievous grin and the way our little ones looked up at us with total trust. These memories are what get us through the rough days. Take that break and enjoy every minute of it, 100 points for this! Yes!

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy– Take 5 minutes and go make the kitchen pantry neater, cleaner or both. You can organize at least one shelf in 5 minutes and that is one more organized shelf than you had before… if you pantry is totally organized and clean take your 100 points and enjoy your freebie!
