Simple Fall Decor For Busy Moms- Peek Into Momma’s House
I love the colors of fall and sprinklng them around my home is a treat. But as a busy mom I find it difficult to keep fresh fall flowers… fresh when I can hardly remember to turn on the dryer or buy dog food with the pressure of the holidays zooming i my head. I am sharing what is inside my home with you and keeping it real.
This simple design… takes simple to the extreme. This is a sprig of silk foliage that I used in a Halloween setting. I had forgotten to pack it away and felt kind of lucky in doing so. Just propping it in the masan jar half filled with popcron kernels made a simple decoration that makes me smile every time I walk by and take a glimpse.
These are the same jars I used for Halloween as seen in the photo below. I knew I was going to use them for Christmas so I decided just to do I quick update before rearranging and changing them for the Christmas season. Plus, I did not want to waste that candy corn and colorful kettlecorn!
After posting the Five Fall Tablescapes I really waned to see what I could do with simple items I had on hand right here in my home.
I am pretty happy with this quick functional and fall embracing look. The pinecones are cast bronze and where a gift from my husband the foundry man. I will take some close up photos of these one day, they are terrific.
I wish you all the best Thanksgiving possible! We will continue our Holiday Shine Challenges on November 29!
