31 Day Clutter Crusade Day Two
Today is Day Two of the 31 Day Clutter Crusade!
If you missed Day One – The Table Top you can find it here. TABLE TOP
Today we are going to take one drawer. There are so many to choose from in a busy household that it may be hard to choose. Here is a good method, either pick the most used drawer or the most tidy drawer. This might give you the momentum to tackle another drawer another day or perhaps even two in one day. Your job is to simply rid that drawer of items that do not need to be in there and especially items that you now longer use. I strongly encourage following the Keep it, Donate it, and Toss it list below and after your get rid of the clutter take a moment and arrange the remaining items by grouping like items together.
For each item that is not in its proper home do the following steps.
- Keep it – decide to keep it and then put it in its proper home.
- Donate it- If you do not need it any longer and it will be of use to someone else place it in a donation bin.
- Toss it- If the object is of no use to you any longer and not fit to donate then get rid of it. Throw it in a waste bag and take the whole bag to the outside bin at the end of the session.
This is the simplest method to get rid of clutter.
This entire task for just one drawer should only take 5 or 10 minutes. I would love to see your results and you of course will be seeing mine on Facebook and Google Plus as well as here on the blog.
