Menu Plan, Goals, and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! The blog has been super quiet for a few days. I have been spending time with my brother’s children. And with that little note I wanted to shout out to all of you, a great LOUD thank you!  This year has been the hardest of my life losing my brother, but yet the blog and you guys gave me virtual hugs and it has just blossomed over the last few months. I am so very thankful to all who drop by and read posts, viewed recipes and decorating photos and of course commented when the time permitted.  You have meant the world to me during this challenging year, and I am so happy to have you all in my life, even though it may just be virtual. 🙂

Menu Plan, Goals, and Happy New Year!

So what happens next?

My goal for the blog this year is to offer more family style recipes, helpful articles on cleaning and organizing, and easy decorating ideas for busy households. I honestly believe busy moms deserve a sparkly, chaos, free home without fuss and stress!

My goal is to share fresh and inspired ideas that will get you jazzed to make healthy meals, decorate within your budget, clean without stress, and organize to keep you sane.  I want your 2017 to be the best year yet!

So look out this week for decluttering and goal setting ideas and lists!

Clutter causes stress and sucks up your free time!  Before we can win at a Sparkly, Chaos Free Home, we have to reduce clutter and streamline the most active areas in our home!

We will also learn how to create GOALS for the year, not those hard to win RESOLUTIONS that make use feel awful when we fail! Be ready to create a goal for the year that you will love working toward and a simple, winning goal for the week to give you momentum!

Here is our Menu Plan for the week.

Monday: Chopped Chicken and Pecan Salad ( Working on a fun Southern Flare Recipe)
Tuesday: Jerk Chicken Thighs, Ambrosia, and a green salad. ( recipes coming soon)
Wednesday: Baked Tortilla Fish, Corn on the Cob and Arugula salad with cucumbers and grape tomatoes.
Thursday: Turkey Patties, like Chopped sirloin but for bird eaters:), baked cabbage for momma, baked fries for the boys and fruit salad for our sweet tooths.
Friday – Baked Salmon, Steamed Rice, Sliced Cucumbers, and Broccoli Salad.
Saturday – Dinner Out
Sunday – Grilled Chicken ( making enough for two days), grilled mushrooms and onions, stir fry spinach, and carrots and radishes for my picky eater.

THIS WEEK:

Stay Tuned for Crushing Goals for the new year and decluttering like a Champ to streamline your home.

Have a wonderful day!
Pam
