Spring Clean and Dream the Family Room Day Two
Choosing the Family Be Awesome Center as my Spring Clean and Dream Project came two weeks too late.
Sadly, my husband did not add my son’s Living Museum play to his calendar and he will not be present while Elvis visits us from the grave of Graceland through my little guy’s performance.
Hopefully updating this area will encourage my husband to check the calendar everyday.
My day two update is the blank slate. I am trying to decide if the lower marker board/cork board should be removed. I gave myself a twenty dollar budget so I am really taking my time deciding if it can be utilized for this project or moved to another area in the house. It is a cute board, it just seems to be hung to low for my fast growing son.

Fling- Get rid of as much clutter and trash in that spot as you can. Remember- if you really do not use an item that is taking up precious real estate then maybe it should not be in your home. And item taking up space is kind of like paying for a parked car in New York that never gets driven. Do your really want to pay rent for that ugly end table that was a hand-me -down from your Great Aunt Zelda??? Well, if it is sitting there useless as the day is long and your are paying a house note or rent, then you are paying for it to sit there.
Clean- Clean the spot with the right tools.
