This week we are going to clean and organize these odds and ends areas. And because each of us has a different situations and are at different stages in our lives I am just going to ask that you spend 10 to 15 minutes a day organizing and cleaning these areas.
I will give four days of inspiring photos, my personal progress in my “always a mess” home office/homework area/ craft room and anything else I find of interest that will help us reach our goals in these areas.
I have several areas of my home that need some organizing, maintenance and tender loving care but I am choosing my home office because I spend so much time in that room.
I have a vision of how I would like it to be, but can never seem to find the time to implement my vision. And although 15 minutes a day may not get me to the perfect home office, it will certainly be a step forward.
Busy Mom Simple Daily Challenge: Choose the room, areas, or boxes of items you would like to organize this week. Write them down on a piece of paper and make a little pinky promise that you will work on these areas 10 to 15 minutes per day for 4 days. That is around an hour. We may only finish one tiny shelf in a closet, but that shelf will be finished!
When you are finished writing go to your area or room and get rid of clutter and trash for 5 minutes. Next, put away items that have strayed from their designated home for five minutes. If they do not have a home but then in a box or basket and we will work on those tomorrow. If they need to be worked on today, then when your 5 minutes are up add this project to you Gotta Do This list and get it done.
Have a peaceful and productive day!
