Hi, Friends! Happy new week! Today I am sharing our Whole 30 week three menu as well as an update on how I feel. The Whole 30 is making me feel better! I mean it might sound crazy. I know lots of folks feel that eating Paleo is incredibly difficult and the Whole 30 challenge is Paleo on steroids. But it has truly been worth it.I am sleeping better and all the pain and tingling from my body is gone. As a matter of fact, I have so many positive changes I am just going to have to list them.
Whole 30 Is Helping Me Feel Better
- Sleeping better
- Monthly cycle pain, minimum ( just for us girls)
- Inflammation down. Especially in my joints. There were times two months ago I could not get my pedicure because I was afraid to let the attendant touch my feet. It felt like my toes were coming out of the socket. ( Yikes!)
- Energy level has greatly improved.
- The tingly pain in my skin completely gone. (I feel this is from too much wheat!)
- Stomach issues are minimal. ( I was diagnosed with Colitis three years ago)
Of course, every person is different. And embarking on a Whole 30 challenge is a personal choice. But I will take my improvements and enjoy how I am feeling.
In a nutshell, the Whole 30 is Helping Me Feel Better!
Whole 30 Challenge Menu For The Week
My family is complex. One is Vegan, one pale and one picky. Making dinner is always a challenge! Here is our menu for the week.
Monday – Pot Roast with potatoes, radishes, and carrots, green salad, and berries for a treat.
Tuesday – Taco Night, this literally never gets old to my son. I have my tacos in lettuce wraps. It was a palate learning curve, but I have grown to really enjoy it.
Wednesday – Tyson Frozen Chicken Breast baked with a crispy breadcrumb topping, green beans for a crowd, and toasted French bread slices for the boys.
Thursday – Leftovers ( Insert mommy happy dance)
Friday – Dinner Out (Spoiled, I am spoiled) But date night is a must with two working parents!
Saturday – Rock Crock Roasted Chicken, Vegan Baked Beans, Baked Potatoes and Salad
Sunday – Against All Grain Pizza with Turkey Pepperoni, and a Cauliflower Pizza for Paleo Momma! (Whole Foods Freezer Section!)
