Hey Momma! What’s For Supper? #92This week I am hoping the A/C will get replaced and I can go back to my usual routine cooking! To keep it interesting, I have browsed online for some fresh ideas to beat the summer heat while still making healthy suppers at home.
I am kicking off the week with our family favorite Slow Cooker Chicken Carnitas and doubling the recipe for lunches.
Then whipping up my son’s second favorite, slow creamy corn, and potato soup.
We will round out the week with Turkey Bacon BLT sandwiches and lots of fruits and vegetable crudites.
It will be a hot week here in Southern California but I believe we can handle it thanks to our beloved slow cooker!

We have a new recipe on the blog which if we get the A/C going I will make this week. Southern Fried Chicken Tenders! They make a nice addition to a good salad. They are full of many yummy spices and are fantastic.

- Sunday – Dinner Out
- Monday – Slow Cooker Chicken Carnitas with Melon Salsa
- Tuesday – Corn and Potato Chowder – Slow cooker
- Wednesday – Turkey BLT Sandwiches with fresh-cut peaches and sliced strawberries
- Thursday – Leftover chowder and fresh Cranberry sunshine Citrus Salad
- Friday – Pizza and a Movie
- Saturday – Special Day! Busy hosting a baby Sprinkle! The boys will be on their own!
