Hi friends! The weather has been perfect for hot soups and chilis this week and I am loving trying out new recipes to use in my Rock Crock and my Crockpot. There is nothing quite as satisfying as a steaming bowl of spicy chili on a cold day. Heck, when it is not cold I just crank up that A/C and simmer a batch to enjoy with my husband and kids. My favorite toppings are a dollop of sour cream, sharp cheddar cheese and a good dash or two of Tabasco. I enjoy really spicy chili and have been known to add extra chopped jalapenos at the bottom of my bowl to give my palate a vigorous surprise. Chili is the best darn fall food and when you serve it up with yummy quick bread it is the perfect meal.
