Green Grape Chicken Salad Recipe
I just make the best batch of grape chicken salad I have ever had. Craving my regular red grape and pecan chicken salad I peeked into the fridge and pantry to see if I had the right ingredients. Bummer, we only had green grapes and only one white onion.
My go-to grape chicken salad recipe has red grapes, chopped red onion, pecans and of course celery and chicken! And it is really yummy, it is the one I learned from my own mama.
I tossed around the idea of frozen pizza for dinner and thought, no, not happening. The teenager in the house had scarfed down the last one.
So I went back to the fridge and grabbed the green grapes and the leftover roast chicken from the night before.
I Jump In and Just Make The Salad!
I chopped some walnuts and diced some onions, sliced the green grapes and added to a couple of heaping cups of chopped skinned and boned roast chicken. Whip in so mayonnaise and salt and pepper. And it was really, a green thing of beauty. It reminded me of Spring, and I thought, this would make the perfect tea sandwich for brunch.
It was awesome!
I served it over butter lettuce leaves and later made my husband a nice Green Grape Chicken Salad Sandwich. He loved it and that makes it a winner in my book.
I hope you enjoy this recipe!

I made the salad and it was great. The only problem was are used rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. I shredded it and somehow the consistency wasn’t right. I should’ve chopped about up in smaller pieces. I will definitely make it again I would give it a five star and next time chuck Bob the chicken
