Simple Southern Spice Blend perfect for pork, chicken, fish, beef, vegetables and sprinkles on french fries!

Ingredients

Scale

  • 5 Tablspoons Smoked Paprika
  • 4 Tablespoons Kosher Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tablspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tablsoon DriedThyme
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin
  • 2 Teaspoons Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

Mix these spices together and store in an air tight conatiner.  Mason jars work very well. 

Notes

To make this into a wonderful BBQ rub add 3 to 4 tablespoon brown sugar.

  1. I absolutely love this seasoning!! I made a pork tenderloin in the crockpot and rubbed the seasoning all over it, added a cup of water with a teaspoon of beef bouillon, left it on for 6-8 hrs on low . It was amazingly tasty and tender!!
