The Best Stovetop Hot Chocolate Recipe

Hi, friends today I am sharing the best stovetop hot chocolate! Nothing beats a cup of delicious Hot Chocolate on a cold, rainy day. I can remember my mom having a steaming cup ready for my brother and me on the coldest of days in Oklahoma. Our cheeks would be apple red and our teeth chattering just a bit from staying out just long enough to get cold but plenty long enough to have fun splashing in mud puddles!

Flash forward to our home in Southern California and the likelihood of a cold and rainy day are very slim. But two days ago we had rain, and not just a little drizzle but a real downpour. I had been thinking about making a big steaming cup of green tea and went to the cupboard to pull out a tea bag. As I glanced inside I saw the jar of cocoa powder and thought, hmm.  I am going to surprise my sunny California born son with a big cup of hot chocolate with a pile of marshmallows stacked on top!
