Shop For Your Purple Fruits

Sweet flavors are essential for a quality fruit salad. And yes! The fruit should be as fresh as possible. I highly suggest checking out the local farmer’s market in the spring and summer seasons for excellent fruit. I make it a point to shop at local markets that have my favorite fruits grown locally. Helping out local small farmers is the perfect addition to any meal? Right?

Fresh fruit is always on hand at our house, along with good olive oil and a balsamic reduction ready to make quick salads and yummy grilled bread in the summer. Both are perfect to serve with this Purple Fruit Salad recipe!
